Newport Wireless Mesh is a non-profit community supported wireless mesh internet service provider.
Newport Wireless Mesh is happy to announce that we have been awarded a Vermont Electric Coop Community Fund grant to build an additional access point on Prospect Street. The new access point will increase the number of neighbors who can access affordable internet in Newport’s downtown residential neighborhood.
The VEC Community Fund is supported entirely by VEC members. Vermont Community Fund grants promote community development and economic security. The focus is on neighbor helping neighbor.
We truly appreciate the generosity of the VEC members who have made this grant possible.
